Updating drivers is not something you want to do manually. I now know how to update drivers automatically and now it only takes me a few minutes to update my whole system.

You may be a novice pc user and the thought of messing around in the control panel or installing .inf files may be quite daunting. Most people have their local computer shop technician install the operating system and system drivers for them but this can be quite costly. You may also be without your computer for days or weeks if the technician has a big workload.

If you want to keep your system running at peak performance then updating drivers automatically is the best way to do this. I have now learned that I can update drivers automatically using a software called Driver Robot. This application installs to your computer or laptop and runs a scan to identify which hardware components your system has and whether you have the latest drivers for that hardware.

It only takes about 2 minutes for Driver Robot to scan your whole system for drivers that need updating. You can then just click a button and driver robot will download the latest drivers and automatically install them for you. Isn’t that easy!

Can you imagine how much time it would take you to manually search the net for each individual hardware device in your system and then search the vendors site to see if there is a newer version. It would take days whereas Driver Robot can do all this in minutes.

It’s great if you are setting up a new system without internet access as well. You can simple install Driver Robot on the new system, run a scan, and then export the results to an external usb stick. You then simply load the exported html file from the usb stick on another computer with internet access and Driver Robot will retrieve the needed driver installations from the web and store them on your usb driver for later installation on your new system.
